Memo To Honest Beauty
Honest Beauty is a beauty company that believes in The Butterfly Effect: that small choices add up to make big differences. Honest Beauty is involved in supporting many charities that primarily helps mothers in need. However the current social media strategy shows a lack of representation of Honest Beauty’s charitable efforts. I created a draft memo to address to the Chief Digital and Strategy Officer at Honest Beauty to discuss how this social media strategy can be adapted to showcase more underutilized data from outreach events. For instance, Honest Beauty has donated over 345,000 products for natural disaster survivors. This data, as well as other charitable statistics, cannot be seen anywhere on social media.
The memo explains how social media efforts should change to include more information on how Honest Beauty is giving back to the community. Honest Beauty could possibly post more Instagram Reels or stories to solidify user’s knowledge of the Honest Beauty reputation. The memo reflects a tone of voice that matches the Honest Beauty brand. The memo includes the Honest Beauty logo in the header and a font selection like the ones used on the main website. I also conducted additional research on data and information to add persuasive appeal to the memo.
