Duolingo Usability Test

For my Principles of Web Authoring class, I was instructed to conduct a usability test using Steve Krug’s Rocket Surgery Made Easy for guidance. Websites often work because end users mentally muscle their way through them and figure out how to get what they want, and there’s often no other choice. Conducting usability tests allows designers to understand how users are currently using the site and allows designers to see if the site is working how it is intended to work. For my usability test, I chose the company Duolingo, an online language learning platform.
