Palma de Mallorca
To start my day in Palma de Mallorca, I went to the gym while my parents sat by the pool. I ran on the treadmill while looking at the landscape of Palma de Mallorca from the large windows on the cruise. Once we got onto the land, we drove to Bellver Castle. It was at the top of a hill, so we could see panoramic views of Palma de Mallorca. Next, we drove to an old bull fighting ring and crossed the street to a Mallorca pearl factory. I got a necklace and earring set for my senior pictures. Then we took a short drive to the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma. The architecture of the cathedral was very detailed; it was amazing to see how much work and time was put into the structure. After visiting the cathedral, our tour came to an end. We were allowed to explore Mallorca for a few more hours before returning to the boat. We ate dinner at El Tunnel. I got fried eggs over handmade french fries with Iberian ham. They cut the ham off of the leg right in front of us. All of the food tasted amazing. If I stayed in Mallorca longer, I would definitely go back. As we were walking back to the boat, we stopped in a gift shop and bought a deck of cards with various places in Mallorca on them. After playing cards for a few hours in our cabin, we called it a night.
